Doyle LLP Trial Lawyers has initiated a suit against SpeedCo Inc. (“SpeedCo”)

Doyle LLP Trial Lawyers has initiated a suit against SpeedCo Inc. (“SpeedCo”) to address claims of negligence on the part of the defendant. Failure to perform proper maintenance and misrepresenting performed work on a truck serviced by a SpeedCo location in Mississippi led to an auto accident injuring our Plaintiffs.

Our clients, commercial truck drivers, entrusted their truck to SpeedCo on July 1st, 2013 to receive general servicing and maintenance. SpeedCo reported to the Plaintiffs that the requested maintenance work was performed successfully. Approximately one month later on August 2nd, 2013, our clients were involved in a single truck accident that resulted from loss of steering control. Both plaintiffs were in the cab of the truck as it ran off the road and turned on to its side. The injuries to both Plaintiffs were luckily non-life threatening, but were nonetheless serious and substantial.

The authorities investigating the accident attributed the steering issue to the failure of a pitman arm ball joint; one of the same pitman joints that SpeedCo allegedly serviced a month beforehand. The investigating authorities concluded that the joint was rusted, worn, and improperly lubricated. The accident left our clients with lasting injuries, mental anguish, and damage to their truck.

SpeedCo’s negligence in performing their duty and further deception put the lives of the Plaintiffs at risk.
